Arrangements in relation to Maps in counties Longford, Carlow, Meath, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Wexford, Clare, Louth, Wicklow, Roscommon, Dublin, Kildare, Sligo, Cavan, Cork, Limerick, Mayo, Donegal, Leitrim, Kerry, Laois, Monaghan, Tipperary, Offaly, Waterford and Galway

This is a further update on progress to date on our Digital Mapping programme.
Parcel boundary data for counties Longford, Carlow, Meath, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Wexford, Clare, Louth, Wicklow, Roscommon, Dublin, Kildare, Sligo, Cavan, Cork, Limerick, Mayo, Donegal, Leitrim, Kerry, Laois, Monaghan, Tipperary, Offaly, Waterford and Galway is now available for inspection online. As a result, new arrangements have been put in place in relation to the use of Filed Plan maps for registered land in these counties.
Transitional arrangements
In order to facilitate a smooth transition to the digital map environment, Filed Plan maps issued from the paper map base and those generated from the new digital map base will be accepted for applications for registrations lodged in the Land Registry
- Longford and Carlow up to the 4th June 2007
- Meath up to the 2nd July 2007
- Kilkenny and Westmeath up to the 1st October 2007.
- Wexford up to the 1st November 2007.
- Clare up to the 1st February 2008.
- Louth and Wicklow up to the 1st April 2008
- Roscommon up to the 1st October 2008
- Dublin up to 1st November 2008
- Kildare and Sligo up to 2nd January 2009
- Cavan up to 2nd March 2009
- Cork up to 1st April 2009
- Limerick up to 1st June 2009
- Mayo up to 1st September 2009
- Donegal up to 1st December 2009
- Leitrim up to 1st January 2010
- Kerry up to 1st February 2010
- Laois up to 1st March 2010
- Monaghan up to 1st April 2010
- Tipperary up to 1st June 2010
- Offaly up to 1st July 2010
- Waterford up to 1st August 2010
- Galway up to 1st November 2010.
From these dates, only
- ‘ITM Filed Plan’ maps produced by the Land Registry and
- ‘OSi Land Registry Compliant Map’ with ITM co-ordinates shown on the upper right corner and the lower left corner, produced by Ordnance Survey Ireland
- Computer Generated Maps (OSi licensed) displaying ITM coordinate referenced maps
will be acceptable for registration purposes.
Similar arrangements will apply for each county as the vector boundary data is made available.
